Maureen from Thika, Kenya, is a passionate entrepreneur who is seeking to own and run a water distribution franchise. This will offer safe drinking water to her community, which is still to this day largely boiling water for consumption, at an affordable price and within walking distance of their home.

Together with 1.240 other lenders, we raised $39,825 to help this wonderful woman!

This loan helps Maureen to launch her own clean water business and to set up water pick-up and distribution points in the area surrounding the shop, where people from her community will find it easy and convenient to get safe drinking water.
